Georgia Lambert answered on 23 Apr 2024:
An ecosystem is an area where living things (like plants, animals and fungi) interact with each other and the environment (the weather and the landscape) 🌍. We often think about ecosystems on large scales, for example looking at the whole Amazon rainforest 🌴 or the Sahara desert 🏜 , but ecosystems can also be thought about on a smaller scale. In fact, there is a whole ecosystem inside you right now! In your gut there are lots of healthy microorganisms like bacteria and fungi that interact with each other and the acidic environment to keep your body functioning properly 🤩
