An ecosystem is an area where living things (like plants, animals and fungi) interact with each other and the environment (the weather and the landscape) 🌍. We often think about ecosystems on large scales, for example looking at the whole Amazon rainforest 🌴 or the Sahara desert 🏜 , but ecosystems can also be thought about on a smaller scale. In fact, there is a whole ecosystem inside you right now!
