My Typical Day:
First thing I do in the morning is to cuddle my cats, have breakfast and read the news on the internet. Once at work, I usually spend most of the time looking after the mosquitoes in the insectary (try no to be bitten by them).

First thing I do in the morning is to cuddle my cats, have breakfast and read the news on the internet. Once I arrive work, I go to check on the mosquito colonies we have in the insectary and see that everything is alright. We need to be sure that the environmental conditions are ok, not too cold, not too warm, the correct humidity. Then, depending on the day, I have to feed the mosquito larvae, cross mosquitoes to have new generations, bloodfeed the females… In short, have the mosquitoes happy so we can continue our experiments. Some days, I spend hours on the microscope looking mosquitoes.
