Currently there are 5 popular operating systems and these are Windows, Linux, Apple OS, Google Android OS and Apple iOS.

Whilst there are 5 popular operating systems, the variations around each one differs dramatically. Depending on the organisation for example, you can still see Windows 8, Windows, 10 and Windows 11 and Windows Server variants seem to be even greater depending on the applications they are running as some of these may be legacy that cannot be removed but will not run on the newer versions.
