      There are lots of different ways depending on it’s use (military, mining etc) but they will all follow the a similar principle to the “Fire Triangle” (Fuel – Heat/Ignition source – Oxygen/Atmosphere).
      A simple “bomb” that most people have seen is a firework, though it’s used for visual entertainment rather than it’s explosive power. The chemicals/fuel used inside are what decides the colour that is displayed e.g. Copper makes blue, sodium makes yellow.
