I am a mother of three kids and we live just outside of Cambridge. I enjoy being outdoors whether running, cycling or walking and I love finding and watching wildlife.

I enjoy reading, more often fiction and especially anything by Philip Pullman. I love looking out for wildlife wherever I am, insects, spiders, muntjacs, newts, even the occassional lizard or snake. I really enjoy cycling, on quiet country roads or in the woods.

My Work:
I work in Life Cycle Analysis, which means I am calculating the environmental cost or impact of products over their “lifecycle” – this can be from getting raw materials, making them, using them all the way to disposing/recyling at the end of their “life”. In my work I am mostly looking at chemical catalysts. The catalysts speed up chemical reactions to make chemicals like hydrogen, methanol and ammonia, which are important in fuels, fertilizers and as buildng blocks for many other chemicals.
