I live with my two cats in Hampshire. I’m an infectious disease scientist in the day 👩🏻🔬 and a gamer in the evenings 🎮. I love travelling, Rihanna, and art! ✈️🎵🎨

I’m a microbiologist and work with international teams to protect and improve global health. 🌍⚕️

My Typical Day:
I wake up and drive to work. When I get to the laboratory I do lots of experiments alongside my fantastic team. In the afternoon I look at results and make decisions and create reports. I work Monday – Friday.
Sometimes I have to travel to other countries, for a specific disease outbreak or project.

What I'd do with the prize money:
Not sure, any ideas?
Maybe buy a microscope and some interesting slides to bring to schools and learn about. I love art so would be cool to see students create some artwork, ‘Micro-masterpieces’, of their own, based on the slide(s) they see – with pencil, pen, paint or anything really!
Perhaps use it for educational online content too.
