I’m a mum of 2 very energetic boys and I also have a passion for health & wellbeing and have recently started reading books related to psychology as this is something I find fascinating!
I’m super passionate about learning and development and I get a real sense of satisfaction from helping others so as well as a STEM Ambassador, I’m also signed up to various mentoring programmes.

My Work:
I’m currently working as a Customer Experience Specialist for a large global Technology company and love being able to help our customers better understand how technology can help them to achieve their business goals, as well as support them with any challenges they may be having.

Prior to working in technology, I’ve worked in several marketing and creative agencies, again working with customers but my passion for technology has meant I have now built my career in this direction instead.
In my current role, I work collaboratively with a lot of internal teams to ensure the customer is receiving an excellent customer experience, as well as working with the customer directly myself. I’m also currently working on some side projects to launch a customer survey as well as to improve our digital communications – all with the view to make things easier and simpler for our customers.

My Typical Day:
After taking my kids to school, I return home as this is where I work full-time! I may have some video calls either with customers or with teammates, have time set aside to work on projects or do some learning & development.

At lunchtime, I always try and take a walk and have lunch away from my desk to get a proper break. At the end of the day, I close my laptop and enjoy not having to commute anywhere other than my kitchen!

What I'd do with the prize money:
I’ve been wanting to do some activities with the school that my kids go to, so I’d love to work with them to bring STEM into the classrooms and get them really engaged with interactive and fun activities.

Customer-obsessed, motorsport fan.

I didn't know!

Not unless you count being told to make my skirt longer!
If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?
I'm really interested in phycology so maybe something in this field, or as a mentor/trainer.

I love electronic dance music and have too many favourites!

If you had 3 wishes for yourself what would they be? - be honest!
I wish... I found my passion for working in technology earlier in my career, I was a more confident presenter, I lived somewhere warmer sometimes!
