Liam Herringshaw answered on 27 Feb 2024:
Sorry it took me so long to answer this. I think the favourite fossils I have found, in no particular order, are: 1) a fossilized deer footprint I found in Spain when I was a student; 2) a Jurassic croc skull I found on a Yorkshire beach with a young woman who wants to become a palaeontologist; 3) a really ancient sea creature called Aspidella in a block of rock beneath a telegraph pole in downtown St John’s, Newfoundland, Canada; 4) a trilobite (ancient sea creature) in some rocks on the edge of the Sahara desert; and 5) a small three-toed dinosaur footprint I found in Jurassic rocks near Scarborough.
