  The first AI ever created is a debatable topic as it is difficult to specify exactly what counts as AI and what does not. The first research into, what we know as neural networks started in the 1930’s and the first one built was in 1951 called SNARC. tis is commonly referred to as the first AI. However during the 1950’s many other AI like machines were built including a game AI machine designed to play checkers, which could challenge amateur players.
