Question: what is data science how would it help me in the future

Data Science is a field that uses scientific methods, algorithms, processes and models to extract knowledge and insights from data. Data Scientists use statistics, computer science and specialist knowledge of a subject to analyse and interpret complex data.
Data Science is used to build AI and so is very relevant right now. If you want to understand or build AI systems, you would need to understand Data Science and learn about the models and techniques Data Scientists use. For instance, as a Data Science Product Manager I have to have knowledge about different models used in Data Science and make decisions on what to use to solve specific problems.
