  Our longest experiment to run is from our radiochemistry section of the lab. Their tritium samples take 20 days to test!!

I work with parasite infections in mice, and then analyse their immune responses. The infections can run several weeks, as I’m interested in certain time points. The longest one I have done is 7 weeks, and then it took me a further couple of weeks to process the tissue, section is, and perform my staining protocols. The most common infection times I run is 3 and 5 weeks.
