I like reading science fiction and fantasy. My favourite books have been the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C Clarke, and the Earthsea saga by Ursula K Le Guin.
I have started reading more non-fiction as I’ve gotten older. There’s a great book called “A Sting in the Tale” by Dave Goulson about bumble bees which was absolutely fascinating!
So many!! I love reading. Fantasy is my favourite genre. Lessons in Chemistry is one of my all time favourite books, and an incredible non-fiction recommendation is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.
I read quite a bit of history, fact and fiction, with a bit of fantasy thrown in. If I had to recommend and author, I think it would be WM Thackeray, both Vanity Fair and The Luck of Barry Lyndon have very wry takes on humanity and some great characters.
