It is quite fun, I find it enjoyable and interesting. In water uranium wouldn’t have a taste so would have to be tested for. Also, the government (DWI) have limits of what can be in drinking water for safety, too much uranium can indeed harm your kidneys.
I couldn’t tell you what it tastes like as it’s not something I would ever recommend eating… Although there probably are trace amounts (micro-grams) in some foods that we eat and the water we drink, which I expect would vary depending on what part of the world you live in. It won’t do you any harm in tiny amounts and will likely just pass through your body.
I have seen a funny meme which says ‘Another great reason not to eat Uranium…’ and then it has a screenshot of a google search for ‘how many calories in 1g of Uranium’ – give it a search yourself and you will see why 😀
