Dina Simons answered on 11 Apr 2024:
I don’t study immunology, so I can’t really answer this one with great accuracy! However, I think everything has a limit, including neutrophils. Neutrophils are a type of white blood cell that is part of the immune system and helps the body fight infection. When the neutrophils can’t fight the infection anymore, I guess they have reached their limit. This is why we have medicines like antibiotics to give them a hand. I hope that answers your question! 🙂
