I live in Bristol at the moment but I’m normally from Reading where I live with my family and my pet cat Tizzy. As I’ve been missing my cat recently, I’ve decided to hatch some sea monkeys! I enjoy playing netball, watching TV and reading.

Unfortunately due to coronavirus I haven’t been able to go into the office, but at the moment I am working from home on my computer. I will be looking at the difference between people with a brain tumour and people without, aka whether they have a mutation! This mutation could be used to spot if someone has a brain tumour!

My Typical Day:
I wake up and I go for a walk around a park. I then get back home and I work on the computer where I use big databases to find out how our genetic make up is different to those with brain tumors.

What I'd do with the prize money:
Helping people with brain cancer have a voice in the community.

Education:
I went to Luckley House School for secondary school and Reading Bluecoat School for sixth form. I completed my undergraduate degree and Masters at the University of Liverpool.

Qualifications:
I achieved 11 GCSEs, an AS Level in Psychology, and A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths.

I worked at WHSmiths during my studies at the University of Liverpool.
