About Me:

I’m from Manchester and I am currently working for Siemens on a 1-year internship while studying Environmental Science. I enjoy camping, rock climbing and listening to music.

My Work:

At Siemens I do work for two teams: the Environmental, Health & Safety team, and the Sustainability team. My day-to-day job involves gathering, analysing and presenting the gas and electricity consumption & production of about 30 sites across the UK. I then use this information to calculate a carbon cost equivalency (abbreviated to CO2e) and report this information to the relevant governing bodies.

I am also currently leading a group of 5 early careers staff in coming up with a workshop aimed at getting primary school students interested in biodiversity, as part of a larger project that may be used to train the green skills of staff who don’t have any experience in this area.
What I'd do with the prize money:

I’d look at investing it in the workshop I’m working on, or something of a similar capacity.
