I live in Houston, TX, USA for 6 years now, but was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. Happily married on a wonderful women and being a father of two spectacular sons. When I have time I watch some Anime and enjoy listening of wide variety of music. Unfortunately now I don’t have any more time to read non-technical books, but I do listen audio books, mostly in sci-fi genre. Please call me Anar – since I believe that we all equal as a scientists. Don’t hesitate to ask tricky or personal questions – I’ll do my best answering them

I work for Center of High Performance Computing for 15 years now. Writing highly scalable code which runs on many thousands of computers. Helping researchers in various fields of science including AI and Quantum computing.

It’s a privilege to work with people around me. We also influence industry by sharing our findings and expertise with other scientists. For example we volunteered for COVID-19 research support.

My Typical Day:
My typical day is mainly about jumping from one meeting to another advising on some aspects of research which spans from computer science to 3D printing, and from conventional partial differential equations to machine learning and artificial intelligence. And in-between have to write some prototypes to show opportunities for further research.
