My job is to check whether a new medicine really does stop illnesses or not. There are so many clever people coming up with new ways to fight diseases, but I think its really important to check if they are really working as well as we hoped and what the side effects are.

Sinthu Thakur answered on 12 Apr 2024:
My working field is neurophysiology so I help assist with the diagnosis of various neurological disorders such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, carpal tunnel syndrome etc. We perform electrodiagnostic tests of the brain which helps patients get the diagnosis they need which is the first step to stopping illnesses. That way they can seek doctors advice and treatment accordingly.
