One of the problems of selective breeding is that you often are using a small genetic pool to breed from and so you can introduce undesirable traits. For example, German Shepherd’s often suffer from hip displacia. On that basis, you can argue that the most mixed up type of dog is probably the most healthy.

I’m not sure about which breed is the most healthy, but I’ve got a border collie so I can tell you that border collies are very energetic and excitable 😂
