In my research, all the challenges are connected to trees complexity. They are big and long lived organisms so I need to work in the forest to see the final result of my research. Also, seeds needs long time and specific protocols to germinate. Moreover, the several chemical compounds make the biomolecules extraction complicated with tonnes of “impurities”. The information and databases with tree knowledges is scarce and using comparisons with weeds and crops.
In research, we have a hard time coordinating work and personal life, including many re-allocations looking for work, grants, etc.
