I don’t think so. DNA has a half life of about 500 years, meaning every 500 years half of it has decayed away. The dinosaurs went extinct about 65 *million* years ago so any of their DNA is long gone! We sometimes get lucky with old DNA with examples that are better preserved than usual (like bog bodies!) but even in these cases we’re probably looking at a hard limit of a few thousand years.

it’s unlikely, but there may be possibilities to create creatures that look like what we think dinosaurs looked like in the future. The exact story is very unlikely, apart from where profits are put above safety which is disappointingly common (not where I work though!).

I have to agree with the others… It is an attractive idea but very unlikely.

Not at the moment! We just don’t have good enough DNA samples, like Zoe says. There’s too much missing information. One day, we might be able to fill in those gaps with DNA from other organisms (like they do in Jurassic Park, although we probably wouldn’t use frogs), but even if we do that, the “dinosaurs” we create wouldn’t be exactly like the original ones because the patched parts of the DNA would be different.
