If the only thing left connected was your veins, then definitely not. You need the tendons in your hands to move your fingers, so they would still need to be connected too.

It’s a great question, but no. To wiggle your fingers, the brain sends signals along your nerves to the muscles. That tells specific muscles to expand or contract, to pull or push on each joint. The muscles are connected to the bones by tendons, and some of these run from the hand into the arm. So all of these nerves, muscles and tendons need to be properly connected for you to wiggle your fingers. The veins provide the blood which contains the chemical energy for it all.
