Question: how do you tell if its a right medical drug because i wanted to know how do you tell do you test it on people because if you do and it geos wrong what would you do??
Every drug goes through a set of clinical trials before it’s released to the public. These include pre-testing, animal testing, then 4 trials on patient volunteers where it’s compared to a placebo (doesnt contain any drug) and later on to current treatments. Each trial is fully investigated, thorough, and has loads of regulations surrounding it to make sure everything is covered including any side effects. The drug has to pass every test. If at any point the data doesn’t look great, the trials are stopped.
