Neil Barnby answered on 31 May 2024:
Organisation is the key here. I use my daily calendar/diary to set aside time to deal with each of my projects and make sure I have time to speak to the teams. From there I can make decisions about whether I need to spend more time dealing with one project over another.

I am not sure that I do keep up with *all* projects. But as Neil suggests organisation is key, a calendar and tasks lists are really good tools to keep on top of what needs to be done when. Sometimes though you have to prioritise projects, and some have to be put on hold whilst more important tasks get done.

I use a tool called OneNote to store “to do lists” and help me prioritise tasks for each project.

I advocate for work-life balance so I schedule my work and manage my time well. I have builtin free time which can be used on projects if needed. Some good tools can also be used to keep projects on track but I always go back to a desk diary and an online calendar for meetings.
