  I can tell you *lots* about computing – but the most important thing you need to know is that computers are just machines and working with machines can be fun, interesting, even profitable, but it is the human contacts you make that are the most important. Fortunately science, even computer science, is a team effort so you get plenty of chance to hang out with cool, smart, people.
