Hi, I work with marine mammals pretty much all day every day. They are my job and my passion. I work by creating plans to enable their protection during offshore (at-sea) operations such as building wind farms. I also deliver talks to anyone that will listen about their adaptations and conservation. When I’m not doing either of those you will find me on a cliff, a beach or a boat looking for these animals. I absolutely enjoy seeing them in the wild. From seals hauling out to great big baleen whale breaches, I love it all!

My Work:
I am a Marine Mammal Specialist, which means I get to work with and for whales, dolphins and porpoises. I work at sea and from home in various roles. I’m what’s called a ‘freelancer’ so I work for myself and get to choose where I go. I’ve been to the Arctic, Antarctica, Iceland, Norway, Middle East, Canada, the Caribbean and many more places with my work. I’ve seen many animals and aim to protect them by writing policies and guidance when I get home.
