It wasn’t too difficult and enjoyed the journey but it was time consuming for sure. I did my degree in Greece were I am coming from. The bachelor degree for Agriculture in Greece is 5 years. Then I continued with a Masters which again in Greece is longer than the UK and it took me 2.5 years. I had a short break and then I moved to Denmark for my PhD that lasted 3 years. I stayed there for 6 months working in a project and once this finished I started applying for jobs. I got the job of my first interview and it was a pernament one. I am at the same job since. This doesn’t happen too often in science but I guess I was lucky 🙂
