Its how plants capture light and carbon dioxide and turn it into sugar/energy (and handily release oxygen so that we can breathe!)

Photosynthesis is the process plants use to make energy inside their cells – so they can survive.
They use the sun’s rays, the minerals and water in the ground and carbon dioxide in the air to produce this energy. The plants will release oxigen during this process which is very handy for us!
