Not in the foreseeable future. It only rarely passes through the plane the planets orbit in and has a stable orbit until at least 2167 (and probably long afterwards). The closest it will get to Earth will be 2095 when its distance to the Earth will still be 1 1/2 times the distance from the Sun to the Earth, so a very safe margin.

As Andrew says, not likely anytime soon!

not unless something was to change. the closest it will come to earth right about now was yesterday on the 1st of febuary. i wish i had realised sooner and i could have seen it

Unless something were to change the orbit of the comet, it is unlike it will crash into Earth… That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t worry about things like this… 63 million years ago an asteroid colliding with the Earth wiped out the dinosaurs. We could be next if we don’t watch out.

It’s very unlikely! Eventually, there probably will be more collisions with Earth, but it almost certainly won’t be this comet and it’s not likely to happen during your lifespan at all…
